Vintage Ashtray Harrah's Club Reno and Lake Tahoe NV Souvenir Clear Glass

This clear glass ashtray with a bright red decal advertises the Harrah's Casino Club in Reno and Lake Tahoe, Nevada.  It holds either very happy winning memories or more sobering losses, but either way a great item to add to any collection.
While there is no manufacturer's mark on the ashtray, we make a strong argument that it was manufactured by Anchor-Hocking as the shape is very reminiscent of the 3 1/2" ashtray marketed in their 3-piece square sets in crystal like this one and a variety of colors. These date back to the 1950s, so this ashtray very likely has some age to it. Remarkably, the decal is in very good condition for its apparent age, indicating it was rarely if ever used for its intended purpose. There is a little inner rim roughness that may well be from the glass mold and not damage. Looking at the decal, the lower righthand point has a wee chip, too, likely from stacking and storage. There are what appear to be water stains here and there that may well come off with a vigorous scrubbing, but we will leave that to the new owners to try. Despite these wee flaws, it's a wonderful piece of Americana.
